Free Appointment Booking Page for Small Business in India
Bookings without the phone calls

A free appointment booking page for a small business in India: your options compared

If bookings arrive by phone and WhatsApp, someone spends the day answering 'are you free at four?'. A booking page fixes that. Here is what the free options give you, where they stop, and the one detail that decides it for paid bookings in India.

You can take online bookings free: Calendly's free plan gives one person one event type, and Google Calendar's appointment schedules work on a personal Google account. Both take payment through Stripe, and Stripe accounts are invite-only in India. For bookings on the page your visiting card opens, with an advance by UPI, a Beeps profile has a booking calendar from ₹199 a year.

Free appointment booking: Calendly, Google Calendar and a booking profile

Three routes cover most small businesses. Calendly is a dedicated scheduling tool with a free plan for one person and one kind of meeting. Google Calendar's appointment schedules turn the calendar you already have into a booking page. A booking profile puts the calendar on the same page as your services, prices and contact buttons.

Prices and features from each vendor's own page, read on 24 October 2026. Dollar prices are shown in dollars. Part of our guides to leads and bookings.

Beeps facts: appointments can be free or paid, bookings show as a list or a calendar, and marking one completed emails the customer, from our plans and the product documentation. Calendly is good at what it is built for - team scheduling, round-robin, many event types - and Google Calendar is hard to beat if you already live in it.

The India detail

The catch for paid bookings in India: Stripe is invite-only

Calendly and Google Calendar both take payment at booking through Stripe. Stripe's own help page says businesses from India cannot sign up for a new Stripe account on its website, and that its services in India are invite-only. So a new Indian business usually cannot take a booking fee through either tool, however good the scheduling is.

In Stripe's words: "Businesses from India are not able to sign up for a new Stripe account through our website", and it supports "a select number of businesses, with a focus on international expansion, for the time being". Accounts already active in India keep working.

What that leaves. Take the booking free, then ask for the advance by UPI: a payment link with the amount fixed in it, or a Pay via UPI button on the page the customer booked from. Nobody in India needs an account with anyone to pay by UPI. UPI QR vs payment link vs gateway explains the options.

How a booking flows from your visiting card

With the booking calendar on your profile, the card you hand over becomes the way to book. The customer taps it or scans its QR, books a slot, and the booking lands in your dashboard as a list or a calendar. When you mark the appointment completed, the customer gets an email.

Tap the cardor scan its QRProfile opensservices, prices, slotsBooks a slotadvance by UPI on ProYour dashboardlist or calendar viewMark completedcustomer gets an emailA paid booking can't be deleted, so the record stays.
A booking from a Beeps card to the owner's dashboard, drawn by Beeps Card from the product documentation (fact sheet F23). The UPI button is a Pro feature.

A booking page cuts the calls; it does not stop people forgetting. A reminder the day before does that, and an advance for longer appointments helps too: how to reduce no-shows has the evidence and a calculator. Every booking also gives you a customer's details, and from May 2027 the DPDP Rules set out what you owe them: the DPDP Act for small businesses.

FAQ

Booking pages: questions

Is there a free online appointment booking system?

Yes. Calendly's free plan gives one person one event type and a booking page, without payments. Google Calendar's appointment schedules work on a personal Google account. Both are fine for free bookings. Taking money at booking is where the free routes stop working well for an Indian business.

Can I take paid bookings with Calendly or Google Calendar in India?

Both collect payment through Stripe (Calendly also offers PayPal, from its Standard plan). Stripe says businesses from India cannot sign up for a new account on its website and that its services in India are invite-only. Unless you already have a Stripe account, plan another way to take the advance, such as UPI.

Do customers need an app to book?

No. A booking page is a web page; it opens in the phone's browser from a link, a QR code or a tap on an NFC card. On Beeps, the booking calendar sits on the same profile your visiting card opens.

How do I take an advance when someone books?

Ask for it by UPI: a payment link with the amount in it, sent on WhatsApp after the booking, or a Pay via UPI button on the same page. On Beeps, booking is on every plan from ₹199 a year, and the UPI button is on Pro at ₹299.

What does a clinic or salon need from a booking page?

Open slots the customer can see, a confirmation in writing, a way to reschedule, and a list or calendar the owner checks every morning. Reminders the day before do more than anything else to stop no-shows.
