Beeps Card vs Popl - India Alternative | Beeps Card
Honest comparison - Beeps Card publishes this page

Beeps Card vs Popl - one publishes its prices, the other quotes on a call

We are Beeps Venture Technologies LLP, so weigh this accordingly. Popl is a capable product aimed largely at teams capturing leads at events, and it does not publish pricing - its own site says quotes come through a meeting. We publish ours. Whether that difference matters depends entirely on the size of what you are buying.

Popl statements below are taken from their own published material, checked 31 August 2026. Verify before deciding.

Several third-party blogs publish per-user figures for Popl. We have deliberately left those out: they are not Popl's own numbers, and repeating someone else's estimate as though it were a vendor's price is exactly the kind of claim this site tries not to make.

Where they win

When Popl is the better buy

Three situations where we would point you at them. None of them describes a solo professional in India, which is rather the point.

You run events at real scale

Popl positions itself around event lead capture with uncapped users, events and leads under one flat price. If you are staffing several trade shows a year with a large team and pushing leads into a CRM, that is a genuinely different and probably better-shaped product than ours.

A flat team price suits you better than per-seat

Not being charged per user is a real advantage once headcount is unpredictable. Our Enterprise plan is a fixed number of profiles for a fixed fee, which is simpler but harder if you grow past it mid-year.

You are buying for a US or European team

A US vendor, US support hours and USD billing all stop being friction if that is where your team sits. Our whole design assumption is an Indian buyer, and outside India that assumption stops paying for itself.

Where we win

When Beeps Card is the better buy

Largely a question of scale, and of how much friction a two-hundred-rupee decision can carry.

You want to know the price before speaking to anyone

This is the honest headline difference. Popl says on its own site that it quotes over a meeting. For a solo professional or a five-person firm deciding on a ₹200-a-year purchase, booking a sales call to discover a number is more friction than the decision is worth.

You are one person, not a lead-capture operation

A product built around uncapped events and CRM integration is not aimed at a photographer or a clinic. Buying it for that is paying for machinery you will never switch on.

You need the Indian specifics

UPI collection, WhatsApp as the first contact action, INR pricing and a GST invoice from an Indian LLP. None of that is a feature list - it is what makes the thing usable for a business here.

A sales-led model is not a flaw - it is what you do when the average deal is large enough to justify a conversation. It only becomes a mismatch when the buyer is one person spending ₹199 a year, which is most of who we serve.

FAQ

Popl comparison questions

How much does Popl cost?

Popl does not publish it. Their own pricing page says they quote over a meeting rather than listing figures on the site, because they want to confirm the fit first. A free plan for a single user exists. Third-party blogs do circulate per-user numbers, but those are not Popl's own published prices so we will not repeat them here as though they were - ask Popl directly. Checked 31 August 2026.

Why does that matter for an Indian buyer?

Mostly because of the size of the decision. Our profile is ₹199 a year. A purchase at that scale does not survive a sales call to find out the price - most people will simply pick something with a number on the page. That is a real difference in how the two companies sell, not a criticism of their product.

Is Popl better than Beeps Card?

For a large team doing event lead capture with CRM workflows, quite possibly, and we would rather say so than pretend the categories are identical. For one person or a small Indian business that wants a catalogue, an enquiry form and UPI behind a tap, we are the closer fit and considerably cheaper to start with.

Can I move from Popl to Beeps Card?

Yes. Build your Beeps profile, then either order a card pointed at it or re-encode a programmable tag you already own. Nothing transfers automatically, so you will rebuild your content once. If your Popl card is locked to their platform, that card stays theirs - the link on it is not something we can repoint.

Does Popl support UPI or an Indian product catalogue?

Neither is advertised on their pricing page as of 31 August 2026, and we are not going to characterise a competitor's feature set beyond what they publish. Ask them if it matters. On our side: products with prices and a lead-capture form on Basic, UPI collection on Pro at ₹299/year.
