UPI QR code generator
Your UPI ID and name in, a payment QR code out - with an optional fixed amount and note, and a plain explanation of what each part does.
A UPI QR code holds a upi://pay link. It needs two things: your UPI ID and the name payers should see. You can add a fixed amount, which the payer then cannot change, and a short note. Scan the code with your own UPI app and pay yourself ₹1 before you print it. Payments go straight to your bank, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

Make the QR code
With an amount in the code, every payment is exactly that amount. Leave it empty on a printed code at a counter.
What each part of a UPI QR code does
A UPI payment link is upi://pay followed by named fields. These are the five this page uses, as defined in NPCI's UPI linking specification.

Three checks that save a reprint
- Pay yourself ₹1. Scan the code on screen with your own UPI app, check that the name and UPI ID are right, and complete a ₹1 payment. A single wrong character in a UPI ID can point every payment at the wrong account.
- Keep the white border. A QR code needs a four-module white margin on every side. Do not crop it, and do not print it on a dark or patterned background.
- Test the printed copy. Scan the printed code from the distance your customers will stand at, with two different phones, before printing a batch.

Does money paid through this QR code go to Beeps Card?
No. The code holds your UPI ID, and a payment goes from the payer's bank straight to yours through their UPI app. This page only draws the code - it never sees or handles a payment.
Should I put an amount in the QR code?
Only for one fixed price, like a set consultation fee or a ticket. On a printed code at a counter, leave it out, so people can pay any amount - otherwise you need a new code every time a price changes.
Which UPI apps can pay with it?
The code uses the standard upi:// payment link, which UPI apps are built to read. Before you print it, scan it with the apps your customers use and make a ₹1 payment to yourself to be sure.

Is my UPI ID sent anywhere?
No. The code is made in your browser. Nothing you type leaves your device.
