Beeps Card vs Wave Connect: free contact sharing, or a profile that collects the payment
Beeps Card is built for the Indian sale: UPI collected straight to your bank, a priced catalogue, WhatsApp orders and a GST invoice in rupees - twenty people for ₹5,000 a year. Wave Connect is a capable US card platform with a free tier, billed per seat in dollars at $1,200 for the same twenty, and no way to take an Indian payment.

A customer asks for your rate card
Their sharing works offline and their AI badge scanner is built for exactly this - a real advantage on a conference floor.
Our profile is a hosted page, so it needs a connection at the other end.

Per-seat dollars, or twenty profiles for ₹5,000?
Card ₹1,699 once · Profile from ₹199/year · Free delivery across India
Who each one is for
Most people reading this need the tap to do something - show a price, take a booking, take a payment. That is what Beeps Card is built around. Wave Connect is the better answer to a narrower question, and that is set out underneath.
Beeps Card is built for
Businesses that need the tap to bring back work. Every item below is on a plan you can see priced on our pricing page.
The money moves in rupees
Twenty profiles cost ₹5,000/year here against $1,200/year on Wave Teams - and ours is billed in rupees with a GST invoice, so there is no conversion charge and the input tax credit is claimable in the normal way.
Your customer can pay you on the spot
A Pay via UPI button on Pro at ₹299/year opens GPay, PhonePe or Paytm with your UPI ID filled in. For an Indian business, that is the difference between a lead and a deposit, and it is not something a US-built card platform has any reason to build.
Orders arrive on WhatsApp
A WhatsApp store on Enterprise lets a customer pick items and send the order into your chat - which is where Indian customers already are. Wave's plan comparison does not list WhatsApp as a channel at all.
The card arrives without customs
₹1,699 once, printed with your name, delivered free anywhere in India in about a week. Wave's cards ship from North America, which means international postage and a customs process before anyone taps anything.
Wave Connect is built for
Three narrower cases they serve well, in case one of them is yours.
You want something capable for free
Wave's free plan includes a digital card, unlimited sharing and contacts, a lead capture form and advanced analytics. That is a genuinely generous tier and we do not have one. If you are testing the idea before spending anything, start there.
Your work happens at trade shows
AI badge scanning, paper-card scanning, contact enrichment, auto-tagged event leads, offline sharing and CRM sync. We have none of it. For a team working conference floors, Wave is built for the job and we are not.
Procurement needs SOC 2 and SSO
They hold SOC 2 Type II and offer SSO and SCIM on Enterprise. If procurement requires those, that is a hard requirement and it points at Wave rather than at us.
It turns on where the money changes hands. If your deals close in a CRM after a conference, Wave is built for that pipeline. If they close in a showroom, a clinic or on a site visit - with a UPI advance and a WhatsApp follow-up - that is the workflow Beeps Card is built around, and twenty people cost ₹5,000 a year instead of $1,200.

Moving a team across from Wave
Do this in the order below and nobody loses a working card mid-week.
Build one profile properly
Set up a single Pro profile at ₹299/year with services, prices, booking hours and your UPI ID. The team copies a finished example rather than filling in a blank one.
Pick the tier for your headcount
Up to five people: Pro multi-profile from ₹399/year. Twenty: ₹5,000/year. Forty or fifty: ₹7,000 or ₹10,000. All published, no sales call.
Order the cards, keep Wave running
₹1,699 per card, printed with each person's name, free delivery in about a week. Leave the Wave accounts live until the new cards land - there is no reason to have a gap.
Switch the team over and cancel
Once cards are in hands and UPI is collecting, close the Wave subscription. Export your contacts from Wave first.
Worth knowing: Export your contacts out of Wave before you cancel - we have no importer, so anything left there stays there. And if part of your team lives on badge scanning or CRM sync, keep those seats: we have no answer for either. The field team meeting customers in Indian cities is the half this is built for.
Wave Connect comparison questions
Wave has a free plan. Why would an Indian business pay for Beeps Card?
Because free gets you contact sharing, and Indian business needs more than that. Wave's free plan is genuinely capable - a digital card, unlimited sharing, a lead capture form and analytics. What it cannot do is open GPay with your UPI ID filled in, list your services with prices, or take a WhatsApp order. Beeps Card does all three from ₹199 a year, and for most of our customers the first collected advance pays for the decade.
Can a customer pay me by UPI from the card?
On Beeps Card, yes - Pro at ₹299/year opens their payment app with your UPI ID already in it and settles straight to your bank with nothing deducted. No payment feature is listed on Wave's pricing page, which makes sense: they are a North American product and UPI is not their market. It is ours.
What does a team of 20 cost on each?
Wave Teams is published at $5 per user/month with a 3-seat minimum, so twenty people is $1,200/year in dollars plus your bank's conversion charges. Beeps Card Enterprise is ₹5,000/year for 20 profiles in rupees with a GST invoice - and every profile can collect UPI payments, show a priced catalogue and run a WhatsApp store. Forty profiles is ₹7,000, fifty is ₹10,000.
Can my customers order from the card?
On Enterprise at ₹5,000/year, yes - a WhatsApp store where the customer picks items and the order arrives in your chat, which is where Indian customers already are. Wave's plan comparison does not list WhatsApp as a channel at all. Every plan here also carries a WhatsApp contact button.
Which plan do I need, and what does each one include?
Basic at ₹199/year covers the selling basics: products and services with prices, an enquiry form that accepts file attachments, and an appointment booking calendar. Pro at ₹299/year adds the two that make the most difference - direct UPI collection and a Google review button - plus analytics, custom CSS and JavaScript, SEO settings and a blog, and our branding removed. The WhatsApp store, where a customer picks items and the order lands in your chat, is on Enterprise at ₹5,000/year for 20 profiles. Most single users want Pro. Teams of two to five run on Pro multi-profile from ₹399/year. The printed card is ₹1,699 once and optional - the profile works with a QR code from day one.
I run a field sales team in India. What would we actually use?
The UPI button, for deposits taken at the customer's premises. The priced catalogue, so reps stop emailing rate cards. The booking calendar for site visits. The WhatsApp store for repeat orders. And central reassignment, so a rep leaving does not mean reprinting cards. Twenty profiles, ₹5,000/year, plus ₹1,699 per card - delivered free, no customs, GST invoice included.
